Commedia dell'Arte follows an assigned dramatic composition with set characters (Arlecchino, Pantalone, Dottore, Columbine, Pulcinella,…) but with only a very rough story line. The real art of playing Commedia dell'Arte consists in talent for improvisation! This possibility to interact in spontaneous and unexpected ways constitutes the genial charm of this skilfully form of art. Cascades of jokes, gags and japes, colourful and showy costumes and masks, combined with elaborate pantomime and mimic art capture immediately the attention of the audience. Commedia dell'Arte is perfect for business-events and fairs but also for entirely cultural events and festivals. We can play original stories from the 16th - 18th century as well as modern, custom-built scipts! In any case: at all events Commedia dell'Arte is grand, superb, grandiose and brilliant! The length of the plays can vary from 15 - 60 minutes. We can perform 1 - 4 times with 3 - 6 actors - just as you wish and need! |
